BEAUTIFUL JUNKIN' LIFE

Hey, Y'all!
What a fantastic time we had this past Saturday at JUNK Hippy
Roadshow
There were three buildings FULL of happy shoppers and incredible vendors, not to mention yummy food trucks in the parking lot.

This was one of those FUN vintage markets that remind me why it's worth driving the long miles to
search for just the right items and why I spend hours preparing and planning for my booth. It's such a reward when it all comes together--the stuff I've
brought, the customers, the venue, and the great team who make it all happen at JUNK Hippy!
On Saturday, many shoppers told me they read this
blog (THANKS!!) and saw items I had posted on Facebook and came to buy those items at JUNK Hippy--(and THANKS again!) Others mentioned all

the multiple inspiring booths they had seen. There were those who were on a mission for specific items. There were those who had the fun of discovering a needful thing they didn't know they needed until they saw it at JUNK Hippy. There were those who
were creating garden vignettes to welcome spring. There were those who were looking to add some vintage character to their homes.
There were lots of happy people enjoying the lovely day, the funky vibe, and everything else at the JUNK Hippy Roadshow. Enthusiastic shoppers are the best!
Many THANKS

to everyone who came out to Rosenberg's Ft. Bend County Fairgrounds on Saturday.
Y'all remind me why I love doin' what I do--it's a beautiful JUNKIN' life and I'm so blessed.

Until next time,
Peace, love, and all
the good stuff, sweet friends

GEARING UP FOR JUNK HIPPY ROADSHOW

Hey, Y'all! I'm zipping into HIGH gear around the hacienda in preparation for JUNK HIPPY Roadshow in Rosenberg, TX this weekend. This is the third JUNK Hippy Roadshow to be done in Rosenberg, but the response has been so overwhelming that now more than 75 FUN, FUNKY, and FABULOUS vendors

will be set up in THREE buildings at the Ft. Bend County Fairgrounds in Rosenberg.  This
will be my third JUNK Hippy Roadshow and the second one at Rosenberg.  For this
vintage market I'm inspired by lots of sunrise PINK, beachy wonderfulness, vintage loveliness, and sunny garden cottage treasures that just make me SMILE.
Let's face it--it's been a long, cold, dreary winter! Time for sunshine, warm breezes, and dinner al fresco.
So we're loading up lots of vintage garden metal furniture, renewed cottage pieces, layers of lace, and a little rust too.

Official JUNK Hippy wristbands go on sale beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the pink tent and the doors open at 9 a.m., Saturday, February 22. Hope to see y'all there.
It's gonna be a JUNKIN' EXTRAVAGANZA!
Until then, I'll be beach-day-dreamin' and loading up.
Peace, love, and
all the good stuff!

BIG CITIES, SMALL TOWNS--GREAT FINDS

 Hey, Y'all!
It was a quick paced, junk-as-fast-as-possible kind of trip to the Pacific Northwest recently, but I had a great time catching up with lots of friends, seeing so many inspiring vignettes and shopping like crazy!
My first stop was Children's Hospital Thrift Store in Redmond, WA. Where I found all sorts of good stuff as well as a cool pair of tres chic boots.

Next, I headed over to Monroe, WA where M&M Antiques sits along the main drag chock full of fabulousness!

After I loaded up my treasures from M&M Antiques, I headed down the road to Snohomish, WA. Snohomish is a quaint small town with a vibrant downtown, streets full of gorgeous Victorian cottages,

and a lovely river running near by.
Some favorite shops here include Joyworks, Sweet Bee, Faded Elegance, Annie's on First, and Ruffles and Rust Square.

Common Folk and Haystack Home, both in Kirkland, WA, are not to be missed either! Each of these shops offer gift items, one-of-a-kinds, and awesome finds.
Friday Sweet Hubby and I topped off a great week by heading south toward Portland for the opening of FUNKY JUNK SISTERS JUNK SALVATION in Hillsboro, OR where we found

Then there was the inevitable packing of all my fresh finds and treasures...trying to get it all back to
TEXAS. This has actually become one of my favorite parts of junkin'--LOL--(and the TSA is always very interested in what we've found too!)

And then, before we knew it, we were back on the plane on our way to TEXASI can't wait until our next trip back to the Great Pacific Northwest!

Until next time,
Peace, love, and all the
good stuff, sweet friends.
